Principal's Message

Principal's Message Image
Eshelman Family,

Greeting and welcome to Eshelman Avenue Elementary School website.  My name is Rhonda Pannell and this is my ninth year as the principal of Eshelman Elementary.  It has been my honor to serve the Lomita community as the Principal of an outstanding school for the last eight years.

Eshelman Avenue is an Extended Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade Elementary School.  As a staff, we are committed to excellence in education for each and every child.  Our curriculum is strong and focuses on the Common Core standards in the subjects of Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Eshelman Elementary is fortunate to have an outstanding PTO. They consistently go above and beyond in their efforts to support our students and staff. Through their active participation, they have events that promote family involvement and so much more. I commend the efforts of the PTO and encourage additional participation from every member of our community.

I invite you to explore our website, and to use it as a tool to help you learn more about our wonderful school, stay informed, and become an active participant in the education of your child.  A great deal of the success of Eshelman Elementary students is due to the partnership created between the home and school, so I encourage you to visit the website often, stay in contact with your child's teacher, and call/email whenever you have questions or concerns!
